I started playing electric guitar at age 33, and meeting this wonderful guitar teacher was one of the best experiences of my life. His mastery of the instrument and music is exceptional. Since the personalized lesson plan he creates is tailored to the student’s level, all the sessions are fun and enjoyable. Most importantly, thanks to the lessons, my proficiency with the instrument is improving very quickly, which in turn boosts my confidence when it comes to playing the guitar. I thought I’d been playing guitar for a long time, but it turns out I’ve been using the wrong techniques. Mertcan is such a great teacher—he’s corrected my mistakes right from the start, and I look forward to every lesson with excitement. I had been playing guitar on my own for a long time. But in the eight to ten months since I started working with him, we have made more progress than I did in the previous seven years. With his attentiveness, knowledge, and expertise, I can confidently say there is no one quite like him in Türkiye.

I have been playing guitar for about 15 years, but I always got stuck at a certain point. I could never play the songs I wanted, and I wasted years because I did not know how to practise. I have been taking lessons for about a month, and he truly lives up to his academic title: he analysed my playing so well that the diagnosis was immediate, and treatment began straight away. In a short time, my technique has improved and I have made serious progress with speed. Both an outstanding teacher and a wonderful person. I wholeheartedly recommend him.

A course everyone should take at least once. Give it a shot if you want to rip through solos. I had been playing guitar for almost 20 years, mostly rhythm because of the work I did. Music isn’t actually my profession — that was just a figure of speech. Anyway, over time I realised my lead playing was lacking and I had no motivation. That’s where Shredologist came in. The lessons are a lot of fun, and I can feel the progress in my bones.

Turns out I couldn’t even do alternate picking properly. A completely different level.

He is incredibly consistent when it comes to repetition, while I was an inconsistent student in every sense. He is an excellent teacher. If I start again, I will definitely come knocking on his door. Much respect and love.

While trying to learn guitar on my own, I realised I needed guidance and reached out to him. After working together for six months to a year, my guitar skills had tripled. His technique and knowledge are excellent; he is keen to teach and a really cool guy. He even gives you life advice, the legend.

Then I began working on precisely the exercises I needed. Seeing myself improve step by step each week was hugely motivating. And the lessons were much more enjoyable than I expected.
